When you want to become self-employed and start your own business, the first thing you have to have in place is a great idea. You learn very fast that “proof of concept” and “go-to-market strategy” are crucial for your startup. No entrepreneur has a problem devising these plans! As an entrepreneur, you are good at developing ideas and developing your business strategy.
The problem for all entrepreneurs is accepting that they are not good at everything and need help.
This is where we, as a society, can and must help grow young startups.
If young entrepreneurs reach out to the public for help, we, at Huss Group, believe that it is the duty of every society to support them. The way we see it, support means providing knowledge, skills and a network, which young entrepreneurs don’t have.
However, it is not enough for us simply to provide such things. We have to make them available in an easy and smart way, and that means they have to be free. At Huss Group, we know from our own experience that great startups and ideas die without the money they need to get the help they need.
This is a fatal situation. So, we at Huss Group work for and with Startup Hubs, which provide a free advisory service. However, it can’t be up to private players like us to support startups. There has to be a public environment which helps young entrepreneurs with skills, networking and knowledge for free. This is an investment every society should be willing to make.
